These are the six floor systems we install across Southington, with honest notes on grip, cleaning and cost. The tile matters less than the assembly beneath it — but the right tile on the right slope with the right grout is a floor you never think about again, which is the entire point.

Common questions
They need proper grout packing — the failure mode is recessed grout trapping grime. Our pebble floors get full joints and epoxy grout, then clean normally.
Only if it's small or has real slip resistance — large polished wall tile on floors is a fall risk and won't follow slope. We'll find its grippy sibling.
Yes with caveats: honed (not polished), sealed, and maintained. Beautiful underfoot, needier than porcelain. We'll quote both honestly.
Epoxy: best performance, pro-only install. Urethane: pre-mixed, stain-proof, easier. Cement: fine for walls, outclassed on floors. Floors get epoxy or urethane here.
